Solar Trail Lighting - Phase Two

Description:

Thanks to a generous grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources, Energy Harvest Grant and the Met-Ed Sustainable Energy Fund, plans are in development to illuminate the pedestrian bridge over the Schuylkill River with LED strip lighting powered by a remote rooftop photovoltaic array.

RiverPlace is reviewing options for lighting several locations, including but not limited to the Schuylkill River Bridge, the Amphitheater Park, and the West Shore Trail and Boardwalk.
