LOCATION/REGISTRATION: Race starts at Schlegel Park, Lancaster Ave, Reading, PA, across from Queen City Diner and West of the Intersection of Rt. 422 (Lancaster Ave. Exit) and Bus. Rt. 222 (Lancaster Ave.). Registration opens at 8:00AM. 5K starts at 9:00AM.Walk starts at 9:05AM.

5K COURSE:Wheel measured, fast and flat. Starts at Schlegel Park, enters new section of Thun Trail, crosses Schuylkill River to paved trails and roads near Reading Area Community College (RACC), returns to finish on new Thun Trail Pedestrian Bridge crossing Lancaster Ave. — GREAT PLACE TO RUN A PERSONAL BEST!

WALK COURSE: Starts and finishes same place as 5k but uses trails/walkway of West Reading Park - distance and course tentative - approx. 1.5 miles.

AMENITIES: Short sleeve T-shirt to all pre-registrants and to post-registrants (including day of race) while they last. Refreshments for finishers, parking, time clock at finish, and instant results. Other prizes and giveaways planned as well. Run results on www.pretzelcitysports.com in 3-4 days.
AWARDS: Awards for Top Male and Female Over All. Plus, awards for the following age groups: (18 & Under - 3M, 3F) (19-29 - 4M, 3F) (30-39 - 4M, 3F)
(40-49 - 4M,3F) (50-59 - 5M, 2F) (60-69 - 3M, 2F) (70+ - 2M.) Also awards given to Youngest Male and Female race finishers.

CALLING ALL STUDENTS: Your Race entry fee, with a current student ID, will qualify you for a free RiverPlace Student Membership including a membership card, newsletters. Present your card for discounts at local merchants displaying the Friends of RiverPlace sign.
