Description: The 40 feet tall curving stainless steel sculpture is representative of the bends and curves of the Schuylkill River. The highly visible piece is located in the center of the smaller of a two-tiered masonry planter at the principal entrance to the City of Reading. Adhered to the top of the lower, outer planter wall is a continuous ring of stainless steel plaques commemorating significant and everyday events and quotes throughout the history of the City.
