Description: This is a five-piece ensemble representing Vikings from the Reading, England vicinity: Harald Blue Tooth, the marauding King of Denmark; his wife Tova; and their children. The artist draws inspiration from paleontological sources such as huge rock formations cracked by earthquakes to reveal fossilized impressions. Numerous relief patterns are missing due to vandalism and the weakness of the original spot welding. The pieces have also been damaged by graffiti.
