Description: Born on 1934 in California, Bill Barrett moved to New York after being awarded an MFA at the University of Michigan School of Art. In 1986, he won the Reynolds Memorial Award for "outstanding aluminum sculpture by an American artist." Barrett continues to live and work in both New York City and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
