RiverPlace is not just a place. It’s people from all areas of the community, coming together to work for the good of all of us. Check out the many ways in which you can make a difference at RiverPlace.

| Leadership opportunities |
- Project and event captains are valued contributors to RiverPlace as they coordinate the efforts of volunteers, RiverPlace staff, as well as partners and sponsors.
- West Shore Trail and Boardwalk
- A priority project of the RiverPlace Master Plan, this project calls for constructing a new trail to connect the Penn Corridor Urban Greenway at the west end of the Penn Street Bridge with the Schuylkill River Trail at RACC’s Schuylkill River Bridge. A project with numerous phases, its completion will result in the creation of the central loop in the RiverPlace greenway, and will enhance access to the waterfront for the Borough of West Reading.
