Reading Area Firefighters Museum

                            

The Reading Area Firefighters Museum is located at the corner of 5th and Laurel Streets in Reading's Callowhill Historic District. Containing one of the finest collections of volunteer firefighting memorabilia, including antique furnishings designed by John Wannamaker.  The museum is housed in the 1876-built active firehouse of Liberty Fire Company No. 5. The building itself is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tours are available upon request by calling 610-372 5721.
