Confluence Point Park

June 18-29

RiverPlace is building a new park at Confluence Point.  A committee has planned this event in order to clean up and to improve the public lands around the confluence of Tulpehocken Creek and Schuylkill River.  Volunteers from the Glenside neighborhood have worked alongside the city staff and others to clear brush, pick up litter, paint, and build new trails.  Depending on how much help is available, many other things can be accomplished, including the addition of picnic tables and benches and perhaps the creation of a canoe launch.
