Confluence Point Park
Status: Completed
Description:
RiverPlace is building a new park at Confluence Point. The project committee held a clean-up event in June 2007 to improve the public lands around the confluence of Tulpehocken Creek and Schuylkill River. Volunteers from the Glenside neighborhood worked alongside city staff and others to clear brush, pick up litter, paint, and build new trails.
The addition of picnic tables and benches, the creation of a canoe launch, and many other improvements are being considered as the Confluence Point Park committee draws up a Master Plan for the park.
