Bertolet Landing

The Bertolet Landing and fishing dock is located south of the Penn Street Bridge in West Reading.  The dock provides convenient access to a variety of native fish.  Turn south off Penn Avenue on South Third Avenue to Chestnut Street, then right on First Avenue to the landing.  Free parking.  Dedicated in 1994, it is named for Dr. Charles Bertolet, a long time supporter of the Schuylkill River Greenway Association, and avid fisherman.

The Bertolet Landing was recently rehabilitated by United Way and various organizations for the 2008 Day of Caring.
